At Gentle Smiles of Livonia, you can expect a level of comfort, concern, camaraderie from the minute you walk in the door. The first person I talk to on the phone is is somebody I already consider a friend of mine because she’s so funny and witty and sweet.

The assistants that I work with, I feel like I could give them a hug because they just give you that sense of you’re in a safe place and you’re with family. And Dr. Nadine is probably one of the most caring dental health professionals that I have ever experienced, if not the most, and I have a sister who’s actually a retired dentist so that says a lot. She’s going to be honest with you, she’s going to help you achieve your goals, and she’s going to do it as gently and as painlessly as is possible.

I felt like I had known this practice my entire life. I was welcomed at the front desk by everybody just like they had known how many kids I have, where I lived, what I did for work. We just sat here and chatted like we’re old friends.

Dr. Nadine is just one of the friendliest, easygoing, easy to talk to people that I’ve ever talked to. She remembers like everything about my family every time I come in. How’s your daughter doing? Did she get that job that she was applying for when you were here last time? And it’s just, it’s not like I’m even coming for an appointment to have my teeth checked or anything.

I would say to give this practice a try, which I’ve told several people with the same problem I have, they’re like, I hate the dentist. No, you really have to try going to Gentle Smiles of Livonia. Dr. Nadine and their staff are so gentle.

The most rewarding aspect of dentistry is seeing a patient finally able to smile confidently when they firstly told you that they’ve always been shy. Seeing the drastic change in their confidence and their self-esteem, being able to talk more easily and able to laugh lovely is one of the greatest privileges I’m ever seeing as a provider. Having a patient trust you with their smile and being able to change their life is one of the most rewarding aspects in dentistry.
