The age that we usually recommend for wisdom teeth to be removed is when they’re from 16 to 22. Around those ages, that’s when the roots aren’t fully developed, so they’re much easier to come out. When wisdom teeth are impacted or you’re, you know, complaining of jaw pain or nerve pain or constant headaches, that’s when it’s a good idea to be removing these wisdom teeth.
The earlier you do it, always better and reduces any complications. Now at our office, we also do offer sedation where you’re, you know, relaxed and at ease for the procedure. And a lot of the medications that we do give during sedation helps reduce any post-op swelling, helps reduce any post-op pain, and just makes you feel relaxed and at ease throughout.
