A lot of people have fear of going to the dentist and just walking into an office like this, that’s a big step for them. Several patients have told me, hey I haven’t seen a dentist in years, and they’ll be shaking in the chair. It’s your job, your duty to make sure that they’re as comfortable as possible and make this experience as gentle as possible for them.
Lots of these patients are really trusting you with their care and that trust is not something that you can break. You really want to work for it and make sure that they’re happy and they continue to get that care that they deserve. Our office philosophy, especially when you come in as a new patient, is that we are looking at you as our family and the biggest thing is I always talk about is that trust.
Our biggest philosophy here is making sure that you trust us with your care and we do the best for you. It’s such an honor and such a privilege to be someone’s dentist, especially with fear that’s going around with dentistry and the anxiety that comes. You want to make sure that you’re as comfortable as possible, you make this experience as enjoyable as possible, that they’re laughing, that they’re able to come in and be like, hey, it’s actually not that bad.
I actually love coming here. There’s nothing more gratifying than hearing that from a patient. So as a new patient, you want to make the whole experience from beginning to end as fun as possible and as comfortable as possible and making sure that you get the best care as possible.
